CASE STUDY
I-MED Radiology Network Uniforms
We worked with I-MED Radiology to create a stylish and professional uniform collection for their extensive network of imaging clinics.
We partnered with I-MED Radiology, Australia’s largest medical imaging network, in 2015 following a successful tender process. With over 4,200 staff and 300+ clinics across Australia, I-MED needed a reliable uniform supplier. The previous uniform had received complaints about its outdated appearance, poor quality, fit, and customer service. As I-MED’s new uniform provider, our primary objective was to streamline the experience for their staff, allowing them to focus solely on patient care.
THE SOLUTION
Our solution for simplifying I-MED’s uniform program was implementing a full-service uniform solution with extensive digital capabilities. We created a customised online portal for I-MED with specific functions and live reports tailored to their exact needs. This gave I-MED all the necessary tools to easily view and manage their uniform needs in one place.
Because it was important to achieve the right balance between fast order processing, speedy delivery and optimised stock levels, the collection includes a mix of bespoke and stock service items. This means we can hold safety stock for dealing with shortages or surges in demand, while still minimising I-MED’s commitment to branded stock.
I-MED’s uniform collection is professional and practical with items such as soft knit tops, Milano knitwear and scrubs for technical staff and blouses, a dress and jackets for admin staff. Suiting separates provide variety and choice to suit people of any age, shape and size – so every person can always look and feel their best.
We continue to work together with I-MED to address their changing needs and take proactive steps to keep their uniforms looking great, and employees feeling happy.
THE OUTCOME
Following a national roadshow across many I-MED clinics all over Australia, the I-MED uniform collection was successfully launched in September 2015. Presenting a modern professional image with a focus on inclusivity and comfort, the uniforms immediately ticked all the boxes with management and staff.
As we continue to support I-MED’s uniform needs through global challenges, we are proud of the strong partnership we’ve built and what we’ve achieved. The last I-MED supplier review placed DTY in their top supplier list. We scored 100% on being highly responsive to issues raised by I-MED and 94% on customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations. We hope to do even better in the years to come!
